That would make no sense.
You pay $399 for an 8GB and you're gonna pay $299 on top of that to upgrade to 16GB and risk screwing things up?
When the brand spanking new 16GB cost $499.
Not worth it, unless you're given an 8GB phone as gift and Logic Board is screwed up.
