[1.1.2 OTB] Trouble with AnySim 1.2.1u after H/W Unlock
I have some trouble with unlocking my 1.1.2 Otb. After doing the whole Hardware thing I restored to 1.1.1, activated it, used Oktoporep, updated to 1.1.2, jailbreaked via Jailbreak.com and then tried to unlock with AnySim 1.2.1u, all according to the instructions on www.hackthatphone.com. After on my first attempt AnySim said all went good and my phone is now unlocked, but my Sims (T-Mobile Germany and T-Mobile Austria) were both still recognized as Locked Sims. So I did the whole procedure again, but then AnySim said "cannot unlock". Third attempt brought the same result.
Do you have any Ideas what went wrong?
Thank for the help!

Btw: H/W part went good without any major damage. Used an old creditcard.

Airplane mode was on and I tried iWorld, after it still said "locked sim", but it didn't change anything.
In the meantime I tried the whole procedure a fourth time, but nothing happend.
Do I need some kind of virginizer? And where can I see, if it is still Bootloader 3.9, just to make sure?

you should install anysim (not 1.2.1u) whilst your iPhone is on version 1.1.1. after you upgrade to firmware version 1.1.2, you should have cellular signal!
(edit: i meant to say, give this a try, as i have noticed this does indeed work somethings).

I had a week 51 iPhone. The H/W unlock told me to restore to 1.1.2 and then to 1.1.1, I did that and after trying to use anySIM 1.2u several times unsuccessfully I restored my phone back to 1.1.1 ran the virginizer tool for baseband found in the "unlock" section in installer. After that I was able to use the reliable and more stable anySIM 1.2 and then I left my phone at 1.1.1, and I don't plan on updating until after the SDK is released if the possibility of a 1.1.3/1.1.4 unlock arrives.

thanx for your try ericjarvies, but it didn't work (still "can't unlock").
I'll try now this virginizer thing and report results later.

i dont sure , but if you get a messange saying "locked sim" i think is something about the PIN or PUK code that used if you lose you sim that anybody can access the data on it , maybe you have that active and need put the pin code to the phone , i don't if this is your case, is just a idea
