[1.1.2 OTB, HW Downgraded, and unlocked] Now What?
Hello! I bought an 1.1.2 OTB BL 4.6 iphone. I did the Hardware unlock with the testpoints and everything. Now i'm here with a 1.1.2 UNLOCKED iphone and I'm happy! but.... Does that mean I have a 3.9 bootloader now? Did I do the H/W unlock in vein? Does this mean I cant get 1.1.3 and unlock that (or can I just do i the soft upgrade way?). (is there any difference between the soft upgrade and the regular way). Can I just upgrade the phone through iTunes (does that upgrade my bootloader back to 4.6?) and then do the ZiPhone hack?
alot of questions, but I'm really confused.
please help me understand!
Thanks
Nennie

ziphone is mainly for 4.6BL. but it does activate/jailbreak any phone with any bootloader.
if u wanna be on 1.1.3, upgrade via itunes to 1.1.3, use ziphone to activate/jailbreak it then use anysim1.3 to unlock 1.1.3 baseband.
originally OTB 1.1.2 iPhone 4.6BL
hActivated/Jailbroken/gUnlocked
Tzones hacked
T-Mobile USA
now blackra1n'd 3.1.2

hi,
restore to 1.1.3 via itunes and use ziphone2.0. this new version also unlocks 3.9 BL. there is no need to upgrade your BL. the 3.9 is the better one because you can use the newest baseband 4.03.13_G. if you have the 4.6 BL and 1.1.3 ziphone downgrades the BB to 4.02.13_G. that means NO google locate me.
but the genius geohot is going to create his own BL. if this comes true the FW or BB doesent matter anymore. unlocking at anytime

edit: new version ziphone2.1 available
