Default Will Pentium 4/AMD 3000+/Intel Atom 330 Work?

I'm new to the concept of the Hackintosh, so I'm not really sure if these processors will work.

I currently own a pretty old Pentium 4 1.8GHz Single Core on an AOpen AX4B-533 Motherboard. The Graphic Card is a Radeon 9800 Pro, good enought to run Aero. I have a 80GB SATA Hard Drive (I know, its horrible). 1.5GB of RAM in two sticks.
My Windows Rating is 2.3/3.7/5.2/4.3/5.4. The 5s was for Graphic and Hard Disk. The 2.3 was for processor, so I know I need to change it soon.
It has ran Window XP (Very well), Window Vista (A bit slow) and is running Window 7 Beta right now, average speed.
Will this run a patched OS X Leopard? I've always thought you needed a Core Duo or anything with two cores to do it.

If it can't, I was going to buy a cheap board/CPU combo to run it. Thats when I stumbled apon these.

    Newegg.com - ECS Goal3+(1.1C) AMD Sempron 3000+ 754 SiS 761 GX Micro ATX Motherboard/CPU Combo - Motherboard / CPU / VGA Combo

    Newegg.com - Intel BOXD945GCLF2 Atom 330 Intel 945GC Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo - Motherboard / CPU / VGA Combo

The first one is an AMD CPU with some random board. Its a Dual Core with 2.0Ghz. Seeing Leapard is a multithreaded OS (It is, right?), it can use both Core, getting 4.0GHz (Thats how it works, right?). It has enough PCI Slots to put in my Graphic and WiFi card, and 2 RAM Slots. Either way, its better than my current CPU, and I think I read on the forums that the patched version runs on AMD.

The second one is an Intel Atom CPU, the 330 with Dual Core and 1.6GHz. I saw one of the comments on it says it can run Vista Ultimate great, which means it much be 3.2GHz with multithreaded OS (My 1.8GHz run Vista average speed). But it has one one PCI Slot, for my Graphic Card, and hopefully, built in WiFi. One RAM Slot, I guess I'll just have to get a 2GB Stick. Its Intel, so it closer to the actual Mac specs.

    So I'm wondering (Short version)...
    1. Will my system run patched Leapord on Pentium 4 1.8Ghz?
    2. Which would be better? The AMD 2.0GHz Dual Core or the Intel 1.6GHz Dual Core?
