Potential problems: my build was unstable with 4 gigs of Ram, but rock solid stable with 2 gigs.

You may have difficult finding drivers for a GTS 250; there are lots of drivers for Geforce 9000 series cards floating around in the distros. Not sure, since I have ATI video (still, more Geforce cards are supported, so that's the right choice...). Maybe a Geforce user can chime in here.

Well I dont think you will have problems with the memory, theres a guide for this mobo in the tutorial section, you can also try with retail installation, try with munkys guide, you can google it for more info tho
