Default What Do I need to do?

For a while I have wanted to use OS X, and the only way was to buy an apple machine, but for the decent specs I want the apple machine costs 1,300, I could build a normal pc for a lot less. However I heard you could somehow get OS X running on a pc.

So I am wondering what I have to do to get it running? And what components will work and if it would be as stable as a real apple machine, will any old OS X boot disc work?

Any information will be helpful, thanks.

well as far as running osx on a non apple machine i dont think it would work. but if it did work it would be totally unstable. i mean anything is possible if you find out what hardware apple uses and there tweeks. you could deff. build a comp and use apples os. and i would reccomend buying the os just so you would have all the updates and everything. but if you want to just buy an apple look at the refurbished ones they are basicly brand new and you save alot of money. well i hope i helped you out.
