Default TIME RUNNING OUT - NEW BUILD IMMINENT need help

    Hello all,

I have been reading into these forums now for quite a while. I am researching my next computer upgrade and would like to go 0S x86. I know that hardware compatibility plays a big part in the ease of installation. So here is my question to all in the know are there combinations of chipsets, i.e. mobo with specific chipset or make. Processors what work at full speed and graphics cards that have full 3d capabilities and no problems detecting displays?

    Build Date: 25/10/2008
I don’t need a killer machine; I use Photoshop, music, internet, and HD content in 1080p. I would like a machine that can run that well with no problems straight out the box, with an install disk such a idenb, or other install disks with deliver 10.5.3+.

Open to recommendations. I really need to give up using windows os.

Any trick to the DG31PR board? I have that with a E2200 and a GeForce 8600GT 256 Mb. I am using iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5, and seem to work fine when i selected the GMA3100 by mistake (heard the music and all, just no video), but with the 256 option to NVinject, i seem to get the "you need to hold down the power button" screen after install...

Default Final Build Specs - Can someone look over them please :D

As posted earlier I am building a hackintosh, here are the details around the parts I am going to be using, can someone who has got experience with hack's run their eyes over the components to make sure I am not making any mistakes.

Processor: Intel q6600 Quad core http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131950
    Motherboard: Gigabyte EP45-DS3 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/145686
    Memory: Kingston 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 1066MHz http://www.ebuyer.com/product/119223
    Video: Nvidia 8600 GT http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149369
Power Supply: Arctic Power 600W PSU http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124926

Along with an Antec Three Hundred Case, SATA dvd rw drive and a 250gig sata2 hdd 16mb cache, this completes my computer. Trying to bring below £400 GBP only tips over with shipping. Might go for the extra 2 gig of memory or move to 4 GB of 800 MHz branded memory for not much more. Not really going to try and overclock to start with, just run everything stock for a while.

    What do you think?

I would just like to thank icchansan for posting his original post around hardware. Gave me hours of reading around motherboards etc.

    Regards
    The Dude

By using the 132 bootloader will i have to have the cd in drive all the time to boot into os x?

If so what would you reccomend for install, keeping in mind updates, compatability, stability and overall user friendlyness.
