I am planning on building a machine from scratch and I am wondering what mobo would be the best to get. I understand that gigabyte boards are very compatible but I still see some people having issues with them. Since I am building from scratch I can get any board I want so I just want an opinion on what boards are the most compatible for osx86. I would like to dual boot vista and 10.5.6 retail. I will be using the Q6600 Core2Quad with 4GB of ram. I would like to be able to overclock it to 3.0 easily so thats why I was looking at GB boards.


I also need this machine to support quad monitors. I have been told the best way to do this is to get one pci-e card and one pci card. Could someone please reccomend what I should do for this.

My budget for the mobo is around 100-140. For the video card I dont need anything too powerful I am not a gamer. I would like to spend less than 100 for both cards.

I am thinking about the EP45-DS3L. Can someone comment on whether this is a good board or reccomend something better?

I ended up going with the EP45-UD3R. I like it because it has nice overclocking capabilities. I have heard it is pretty compatible so I am not worried.

I have another question. Will this graphics card work?
