hello ive recently installed 10.6.5 on my old pc to try out mac before i changed my main pc everthing worked fine till i encountered a problem getting the ethernet to connect to internet i get the same message that it has got an ip address but cannot connect to the internet.
the network adapter is built in to the foxconn g31s board it is a rtl8102e and the router it connects to is a belkin f5d8633uk4a and my main pc running windows7 can connect wireless and ethernet thanks inadvance for any help
