Hello,

I have resolution options, but no quartz extreme or core identification. I did try to add my vendor id to the ATI kext, but ended up with a black screen. I am not sure if you can flash the rom on this card, but am willing to listen to some suggestions.

Thanks for the reply. I visited the link and it looked promising. I followed the instructions and loaded the edited kexts plus the ATIinject.kext, replaced all of the information in the kext with my vendor and device id's. First time I booted it hung on the gray screen. Then I followed the second part of the instructions and I rebooted and I lost PS2, sound drivers, and mouse control.

The only part of the instructions I could not follow was editing the ATIRadeonX1000 binary file with 0xED, for some reason the version I downloaded would not give me the search and replace options mentioned in the post. I did remove all of the cache files and that is when I lost control over sound, PS2 mouse and keyboard.

I am going to give it another go today and see if there was something I missed while editing. I am using a backup copy of my image and it does not have the boot partition, so I do not have the ability to use -v -f at reboot. This also could have caused the issues with my loss of keyboard and mouse. I need to download a copy of chameleon to be able to boot the partition with those wild cards.

I will post back once I get a chance to retry my efforts.
