Qosmio X305-Q706 (video card and sound dont work)
All right well i spent a lot of time researching what packages to use and i finnaly got my laptop to barely work... BUT Here are the issues =/
Dual NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS graphics with NVIDIAŽ SLIŽ 512MBx2
also have a third video card nvidia 9400m (used when trying to savve power and you dont really need good graphics) so id rather use my 9800M GTS's
They are not supported by the iatkos or ideneb discs and none of the included drivers work, and i could not find anything on the web for drivers
screen works with generic driver at 1024x768 but thats it and its pretty slow
should be hitting at least 1600x1200
THATS THE BIG ISSUE
Also NO SOUND big suprise i could not find what type of sound anything my computer has (assuming its integrated nforce audio but it uses realtek software)
again none of the ideneb or iatkos drivers work
ALSO A BIG ISSUE BUT NOT AS IMPORTANT AS VIDEO
now a minor issue
my atheros wifi card doesnt work
its b/g/n
ethernet works fine but wireless doesnt
If anyone can help that be great im not a NOOB so if you need any info regarding my computer ill gladly supply and can answer any questions.
HERE ARE MY COMPUTERS DETAILED SPECS
anyway like i said HELP IS APPRECIATED
ps sorry if this the wrong category (thought i was in the kernel and driver section, i had clicked on another thread by accident)

under device management
my audio devices show up as
Nvdia High Definition Audio
and
Realtek High Definition Audio
others than those very vague descriptors i can not find any other info on the audio chipset
under "AUDIO" on all the spec sheets ive looked at, all it says it Harman Kardon Speakers with built in subwoofer (which doesnt help at all...)
ill take a look at insanely and see what i can do
