Default problem with radeon 9600 pro and radeon x800 xt

    hi people,

i recently installed kalyway leopard 10.5.1 to dual boot with windows xp sp2,

everything runs perfect in leopard apart from a slight mouse pointer glitch.

    EXCEPT:

i had a radeon 9600 pro video card, when i tried to install logic studio it came up with a warning message saying that my card doesn't support quartz extrem and say it has no VRAM.

so i went out and bought a radeon x800 xt which was not cheep, but i thought would surley support quartz extreme as it is a bit of a power house, again it says it doesn't support quartz extreme????????????

after reading through a few posts here and there it looks as though i need to edit something in the kernall or something like that?????

any ideas on how i can get quartz extreme enabled or a way to bypass this warning to install logic studio???

as you may guess, i'm new to the mac scene!

i'm running a intel 2.4 dual core with 1gb kingston ddr ram and either of the two video cards.

    cheers

    Default

forgot to mention i have an intel board (asrock 775i65g) and both cards are AGP,

i'v read somewhere that having an intel based board with agp has no hope of getting qe/ci working, is this right??

    please help, getting really frustrated,

will a tiger setup, with my system, enable quartz extreme???

    cheers
