[WiFi] Atheros AR5006EG
Hello all.
Please, does anyone know a way to get Atheros AR5006EG Mini PCI-e WiFi card (laptop) working on Leopard?
I've read (and tried) some Tiger methods with no success.
My computer is a Compaq Presario C700 laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo T7500, 2 Gb RAM, 120 Gb SATA2 HDD, SATA DVD drive, Intel GMA X 3100 graphics, Conexant HD audio, AR5006EG WiFi and Realtek LAN.
Everything is working (sound works although not recognized in profiler, mic and line out jacks not working) except for WiFi.
I've introduced System ID, Device ID, Subs ID, Subd ID on Kext, but no success...
Also, I can't easily switch to a working WiFi card due to damned HP bios whitelist...
Please help!
Thank you.

No one knows? No one cares?...

I believe theres not support on leopard for now

Thank you, icchansan, though you're confirming my worst expectations :( The problem is I bought a Broadcom based WiFi card on eBay that is supposed to be working OTB as Airport but when I tried switching I've discovered the infamous 104 "incompatible network device" AKA "whitelisted HP (Compaq) bios".
The funniest of all is that the Broadcom card... IS AN HP DEVICE!! (8086 vendor id) But even though, it's not supported.
I need to hack my bios or find a "non whitelisted" one, but no luck on that either...
:( :( :(

Theres a guy here hu can hack your BIOS, but your Wifi card still will unsupported :/

If someone can help me hacking my bios that should be ok because as I've told you I've bought an Broadcom chipset mini PCI-e WiFi card that is said to be working OTB as Airport. I know that my current card is not supported, and that's why I want to change it. Please tell me who can help me with bios hacking.
Thank you very much.
