I have a Dell XPS 420, can it become a Hackintosh?

I'm sick of Microsoft. Vista just crashed on me, AGAIN, and this time it deleted all of my firefox bookmarks and rss feeds and everything, for some odd reason.. I'm sick of Vista, I'm tired of XP, I want to see what this OSX is all about without spending my non-existent money. So, I'm going to try to convert my Dell XPS 420 into a Hackintosh, will it convert easily? Will my hardware work with the kalyway leopard 10.5.1? I have 3gb of RAM, an Intel Q6600, an nVidia 8800gt, and a cheap Creative sound card. Will it be easy to get OSX up and running? Will the onboard ethernet(intel 82566DC-2 ) work? Thanks for looking!

EDIT: I've done some googling and it looks like my ethernet won't work. Unless it's been supported recently, it looks like I'll have to buy a NIC. will this one work: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=2067722 ? Thanks!

Yes, it will. you shouldn't have to install custom kernel extensions, the ones that are installed by default should pick it up.
