HP Pavillion m9250f hdmi-to-hdmi issues

Hello everyone, just recently set up a hackintosh using an HP Pavillion m9250f. I have updated to 10.6.6 and everything works wonderfully. I currently have my monitor hooked up from hdmi on tower to dvi on monitor and the resolution is perfect. My issue is that I want to use it as an htpc in my living room and connect via hdmi-to-hdmi. When I do this the machine gets to the apple load screen and then goes black when osx starts to load. I am pretty savvy with these things with the proper instructions. I am still pretty new to osx though so I get kinda lost when trying to edit kexts and such. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700(2.66GHz)
4GB DDR2 800
1000GB (2 x 500GB) SATA 7200RPM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Motherboard: Intel G33

I didnt try my HDMI yet, if you get any info about this issue please post it :P
