Help with buying hardware QX9770 and 790i

I got a QX9770 Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad Core 3.2 Ghz.
I am trying to build a multiple boot with Leopard on it. I need help buying hardware. I was thinking of the following:

EVGA 790i motherboard
GeForce 9600

Any suggestions? Anybody have experience with the above? Anyone have experience running leopard on the QX9770?

Alright sounds good.
So I will probably get the Intel DX48BT2 Extreme.
Does anyone have suggestions as to graphics cards. I was thinking the geforce 8800 but is there anything better?

You will have good support with 8800, dont go with latest video card cuz you can get lots of issues, you can wait for snow leopard for those, like 6 months or more XD

How about Ram? I heard that 1600 might not work. With the DX48BT2 I was thinking either 4GB at 1600 or 8GB at 1333. Any suggestions?

yeh Im not sure about DDR3 1600, so just to make sure go for 1333mhz, 8gb gonna be ok :D

So I have been working on this setup for a long time and I cannot seem to be getting my audio or LAN to work.

DX48BT2
Kalyway 10.5.3

I tried the AppleHDApatcher with the stac9247 codec and the audio still does not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try using osx86 tools to get the drivers?

I don't have LAN capabilities so I couldn't download.
So instead I manually downloaded all the suggested audio drivers from another computer and installed them. All of them were incorrect codecs but I installed them anyways. None worked.
What else should I try?
Also I enabled the Quartz and I still cannot install final cut. It keeps on saying I need Quartz.
