Gateway 834GM

I have this old desktop I'm trying to set up as a hackintosh. It's totally stock, the specs are here.

I used iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF6 Final v1.1

I get it to install, but on the first boot, when I need to choose -v-f to run the kexts, (according to the tutorial at http://tgrounds.blogspot.com/2009/04...n-your-pc.html ) It just boots into the apple logo with the turning thing (the grey and white page) and starts the install process again! So it says it installed, but it seems like it didn't.

So Im not sure if it'll work, or also if it will work but im using the wrong thing? Also, can I use the snow leopord install method? As I do have a snow leopord retail disk I bought a few days ago.

Please help me out, no idea what I'm doing wrong here. Thanks so much in advance.
