just want to know what the cheapest set of components people have managed to cerate a fully functioning hackintosh
this is purely for research, the cheapest list i have compiled, going by the tested hardware section of the wiki, is £250
can anyone beat this?
Also, needs to have an optical drive, network card (although wi-fi unecessary), be able to run ARD and parrellels and have working audio
maybe a cheap crappy macbook? lol

Get a ASRock 775i945g, core2 e4300, ram, sata hd, cheap ass case or donor.
That's pretty cheap and the asrock builtin audio and network work out the box with uphuck 10.4.9 or iAtkos leopard. It's the system i have now! though i'm using a tascam usb audio for quality sounds. One tip though is you need to disable the sleep mode settings cos they don't sleep well.
Builtin GMA950 works great but i'm using a 7600GS Nvidia for games (Titan driver comes built in on uphuck or iatkos leopard).
