2 computers, 2 distros?
Hi,
I'm new to Hackintosh and am looking to install an osx86 on two machines and i would like to know if theres a distro that will work on both.
First is a Fujitsu Lifebook T4210 (GF's Lappy)
Intel Core Duo Processor T2500 (2 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz FSB)
12.1" XGA (1024x768) active digitizer indoor/outdoor display with wide viewing angles
1 GB DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM memory (512 MB x 2)
80 GB S-ATA 150, 5400 rpm hard drive
Modular Dual-Layer Multi-Format DVD Writer
Integrated Multinational 56K V.90 modem and 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN
Integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (Tri-mode 802.11a/b/g)
Second is my computer
E8400 (3.6GHz Dual core)
EP35-DS3
6Gb 800 Ram (2x2GB & 2x1GB using "Flex Memory Mode" to run in Dual Channel)
512MB 8800gt
2 x 640GB satas and a 40gb IDE
Gf's pc currently has xp tablet on it, and the Hard Drive is partitioned into two 40's (one is empty)
My pc has Xp, Ubuntu, Win 7 all running under grub, each on seperate HD.
So what do i need to do? Is there a distro that will work for both. How difficult will it be? Anything i should know?
Cheers,
James
