Smile Possibly the best the best Mobo OSx86 board

Hi everybody this is my first time posting.
    I found this mobo
    DFI Lan Party 9400 LPJRGF9400-T2RS
    click link below
    DFI Lan Party 9400 LPJRGF9400-T2RS (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

it has a 9400m geforce intigrated graphics card.
it has a similar spec to a mini mac.
it is quite an expensive board.
    it also has a
Realtek ALC885 8-channel HD Audio Codec

From looking at the specs can anybody see any incompatbilty issues
with running osx on this board. your help is very much apreciated

    Default dfi board

Yeah, thats what im using right now... Running iATKOS 5i. Using q8300 quad core, 4GB OCZ ram, everything else is onboard, oh, and a d-link wi-fi usb adapter, which by the way, works well under osx....

Here's the ONLY hangup I have at this point: SOUND DOESN'T WORK! for the life of me, im only into this for about a week, but ive tried everything, all different kexts and patches, and cant get the alc885 to work for me!

I dont know if LAN works, I havent tried it out yet, and graphics-wise, its working.

    Default a lil better...

Well, i dumped the iATKOS for iPC 10.5.6 and after a couple of installs, i got everything to work, including sound. I crossed my fingers and went for the update... and it worked!

But there are a few problems.... from what ive read in other forums, I have a problem with extracting/running/transferring large files - i get the restart prompt and crashes. Itunes worked for a while, but now i have a problem with the mouse cursor freezing and then releasing, and as soon as i close Itunes, the problem resolves (weird)!

iPC has a chipset driver for this particular mobo (nvidia MCP7a) so that was easy, but the video is a little tricky. Im using the nVinject 512MB, and it works ok, but i think i can get a lil more out of it after some research...

For sound, you'll hafta select the alc885 chipset, and then youre gonna hafta use UInstaller and download the DFI p35-t2rs mobo package thru UInstaller for the sound to work (its not the same board, but close enough, it worked for me). Using the HDA patch wont work.
