Please Help me build an Intel i7 system!
I'm looking to put together an Intel i7 hackintosh. I've been reading the different distribution tutorials and hardware guides and have a general idea now, but still have a few questions. My main concerns are the motherboard and the OS X distro. What are the differences between the 2 Gigabyte motherboards I've listed below? Is there a better motherboard than the Gigabytes? What OS X distro would you choose? I've been reading ideneb is the easiest to install for the i7 to work. If you currently have a working i7 system, please recommend:
Motherboard (Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R or GA-EX58-UD5?)
Video Card (mid to high end modern card good for gaming would be nice)
Internal Wireless Card that supports 802.n
Sound Card
OS X distro (would like a distro that could be upgraded via Apple software update, but easiest install is first priority)
Thanks!

Check the sticky, about the mobos, check their specs, now you cant install distros with core i7, you wont get the all cores working, you have to install Retail OSX
HP Pavilion Elite m9250f
Snow Leopard 10.6.6, Asus IPIBL-LB MOD BIOS, Intel Quad Core Q6600, 4GB RAM (800mhz), 2x500GB, nVidia 8600GT (Works), ALC888S (Works), Wireless RT73 (Works), LAN (Works) -

Somebody's giving me a brand new Core i7 2600K and I'd like to know the best motherboard and graphics card to use if I want to do a vanilla installation of Snow Leopard. Anybody have any thoughts? I'm also hoping not to spend too much money.

So I checked the sticky and saw that the mobo listed for Core i7 920 is a socket 1366 mobo. The i7 2600K, of course, is a socket 1155 processor. Anybody got any recommendations? I'm really hoping for an easy vanilla install and to be able to install Apple updates normally. Thanks!
