Sorry if this seems like another thread of the same stuff...I read quite a few pertaining to this laptop, but there are so many hardware configurations and so many wiki's to different versions of OSX i figured I'd ask for some help being that I'm a huge newb. I currently own a HP dv6500, that has these specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo T7100
PM965 Chipset
Nvidia 8400M GS

Any help in which would be the best version for these specs would be appreciated. At least from what I've read, I'm leaning towards 10.5.6; but I'm sure someone could guide me in the right direction if this is not it.

Should be able to install OSX without much trouble.
Take it to SL instead of Leopard for better performance with your Core 2 system.
