I am burning the patched 1.6 right now, even though the patch is for 1.3, if that does not change anything, i will try out the 1.3.

/Edit: Ah no, i don't want to reinstall with the patched DVD. i will have to install the chameleon bootloader again. i really thought that this money would be easy to make, but now i have doubts.

/Edit2: Impressing lines, could be frome a movie: TerminateWL..Done, Killing all processes, return aborted with 1 pending interrupts etc.

Well, the modified 1.6 dvd does not start up, first it says MACH Reboot: You can reset your computer now. Then there are a few lines about bluetooth (IOBluetoothHCIController::terminateWL .. Done, return aborted with 1 pending interrupts) and one of the last lines is "syncing diks .. killing all processes".

I guess i have to patch the iDeneb v1.3... let's see if i can get this version.

Is there any way to fix the "phy connection failed" error?

I decided to stop working on osx a few minutes ago. i have a lot on my mind and i dont have the time to play with this. the notebook is faster anyway (there was a very slow windows vista installed, took about 7 minutes to start up) and i think my barber will be satisfied regardless of whether osx is installed or not.

just need to tell him that the battery should be replaced because HP has this battery recalled

Thanks for the help, this won't be the last osx i played around with and at least i learned a few new things.

i need some advice too.. i have tried installing different flavours of the osx86 but the only one which actually went to the installation phase was iDeneb 1.5.1 10.5.7..
i have an HP pavillion dv6602 au:

processor: 1.90 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58
    ram : 3GB Kingston DDR2
    hard drive : hitachi 160GB
    chipset : MCP 67
    wifi: Broadcom
    audio : Coxenant
    video : nvidia GeForce 7150 / nforce 630m

    i have 2 major problems:

the disk utility did not detect my hitachi hard drive so i had to install it on my seagate go flex usb hard drive...

the installation was successful using both the voodoo kernel or the Qoops kernel but after restart the screen with the white bg and apple logo and the loading circle hangs after about 4-5 mins...

any help or advice would b appreciated...
