    Default Which osx86 'distro' will run best on my AMD machine?

    Okay so the guys at insanelymac wouldn't help so I thought I'd come ask you guys. If this is in the wrong section please mods move it.
    Nao, I have an Acer Extensa 5420 notebook that I would like to install OS X on. It's got an amd cpu that I've heard is a bitch to get os x on. So please take a look and let me know if you can. Thanks.

    Hiya there, try with Kalyway 10.5.2, Theres Leo4all v4 I believe is version just for AMDs, and theres ideneb.

    Remember to customize your Installation with AMD Patch and a Patched Kernel Like Speedstep.

    Also check the HCL for your ACER, look for similar specs, what method they use, and what works and what doesnt, dont look for the same laptop, cuz maybe is not there, if you got success please add it yours.
