Default OSX on the HP Mini 110 (hackintosh)

    Hi everyone,

I've recently dived into the world of Hackintosh!

I have purchased a HP Mini U110 netbook Laptop and wanted to post my story of success and share some issues it has with OS X.

The laptop generally runs OS X Like a dream.

I Installed OS X using iDeneb V1.3, with all the normal Fixes (ACPI Fix, CPU=1 ect ect)

OS X installed No problems, without even the reboot loop issue many people seem to have come across.

After Much googling i found a set of drivers for the notebook that can be obtained from here: HP Mini 110 Kexts 1.0.zip

The drivers Installed perfectly, video, audio, wireless, ect ect all sprung to life.

The Things Not Working with the notebook are:

    -Ethernet
-Strange audio problem (Audio works fine can't control sound using keyboard buttons ONLY WHEN HEADPHONE Jack is inserted)
    - 10.5.7 Update causes KERNAL PANIC

My Main Problem with the laptop is that it has issues with the 10.5.7 update, panicking each time it's installed.

People looking to buy this notebook for installing OS X should be aware that it's not very OS X Friendly. Not much Data is actually on the net about this particular model, so i thought i'd post my story.

Anyone had similar problems on any other Hackintosh or know where i can try and find a Update to get the Ethernet working?

    Default Found a guide

Well, while searching I found this guide on the forums:
MyHPMini.com • View topic - Guide for Mini 110 and iDeneb 1.3! Working!

I'd still like to hear hammered24's steps though if they were any different.

That was the guide i used.
you have to follow it exactly for it to work properly.

We just need a decent set of drivers for 10.5.8

The ones i found worked fine for 10.5.5 but i need 10.5.6 for iWork and a few other apps.

The main thing i need working is sleep.

    Interesting thing to note:

Asus's EeePC 1005HA Has the same ethernet chipset as the HP Mini 110

googled and tried installing a set of drivers but it didn't work.

AnandTech: ASUS Eee PC 1005HA: Refining the Netbook

let me know if anyone else has success
