Hi,
I just bought a brand New Asus F3j Series with a Nvidia Geforce 7300 Graphics Card. Since I am a newby in this OSX86 stuff (I used to have an iBook that went to Mac Heaven), I really don't known how to make QE and CI working...
I used Macvidia driver, but it doesn't work

I instaled OSX 10.4.6

can anybody help?
is there a way to put it to work?
I really would like to watch some DVD movies on my Hackintosh and work with some video software.

PS
I also have a REALTEK High Definition Audio onboard. How can I make it to work?

Installed JaS 10.4.8 and now I have QE/CI... but no sound though.

Well, I read it, and tried everything, but it seems that the ALC861 chip is doomed not to work...
Which is a bit stupid because there's a way to make it work under Linux... and everybody says that OSX is FreeBSD based, which is a kind of Unix, just like Linux.... If I kwen how, I'd pick the Linux patch and port it to OSX... I swear I would...

if will give us more of your hardware spec's than maybe we can help a liitle bit more
if your GFX is 7300GT you can get it working with 10.4.8 and natit.kext
for your sound you need halp from another one thats not my battlefield

Thanks for your help, but I forgot to mention that JaS 10.4.8 made my graphics card work real nice with QE/CI. the image is much better than in WinXP.

my only problem now, besides wireless, is Realtek HDA ALC861 sound
