Default Noob with just one Problem...

    Hello

At first i'll have to excuse my bad english. I hope I am able to write and explane my problem properly that everyone understands what I mean.

    First up my Hardware Configuration:
    OSX 10.5.6
    DFI LanParty JR GF9400-T2RS
    Intel Core2Quad 9550e
    4 GB DDR2-800 (2x 2GB)
    2x Western Digital Raptor
    Microsoft Basic Mouse
    Microsoft Keyboard

My bigest Problem at first is that my Mouse is stuck in the upper left corner of the screeen. If I move the mouse i am not able to drag it longer than 1 second. Then the cursor back in the edge of the screen.

The Problem also occures during an VNS Session, but just during non moving sequences. If i move the constantly in the session, I am able to control the Hackintosch properly.

My Next problem is the NVinject.kext. It just recognises 256MB of grafics RAM. There should be 512MB. And no Quarz Extreme, or Core Image support.

Oh, and m Hackintosh wasn't able to find a soundcard.

    Any Ideas for my Problems?
    Especialy the mouse Problem?

Enabled or disables USB Mouse Support doesn't made any difference.

    Thank you

    OK, I have the same mobo, ive been playing with it off and on for the last few weeks. I used iPC 10.5.6 install, have almost identical specs as your setup. so heres how I got sound;

if youre using the onboard audio (alc885) then youre gonna need to find the alc0885 codec (google it, should be called alc0885_codec.txt i believe. Then find and acquire taruga's HDA patcher v1.20. Open up the alc0885 and near the top where it says "address", change it to "0", change the subsystem id to "0x15bd3112" and change the revision id to "0x01". save it. then have one window showing the codec and the other showing the hda patcher, physically drag the codec file to the patcher, and it will do its magic. reboot, and sound should work!!! Oh, you also need to make sure you have HDAenabler.kext installed as well. find a stock version if necessary and install w/ osx86tools.

In regards to the mouse sticking in the corner, the only thing i used was the usb patch and left everything else alone, works fine, as long as you have bios set to usb mouse/kybd enabled, should work!

For the graphics, use UInstaller, have it set the resolution, and drop down the video card menu to the bottom and select "custom"., hit install, and a box will pop up to change video settings, connection preferences, etc., reboot and done.

The ONLY things I now have a problem with is the fact that my install is on an 80GB WD IDE HD, and if there's too big of a file being opened (more than 100MB) i get the GSOD. Secondly, with this particular IGP (9400) is not being nice about allowing CI/QE to enable, thus not allowing dvd movies and some other cool stuff. SO, if anyone is reading this and knows how to fix THOSE issues, im all ears!
