Default New Custom comp, first hackintosh

So I need a new comp, and I've been with macs since the switch to intel. But I now find myself stuck between an iMac and Mac Pro, both in funds and need. I have assembled a list of comp. parts close to what macs have. I missed building my own comps. but will this build work for installing Mac OS X on?

So if this hardware will work, I of course will be inquiring further about the installation of the software itself. I've installed linux on some other machines and did minor tweaking, but not a great deal. I don't know how much they differ. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess the more important question is, will that motherboard work. Its the LGA 1366 x58 motherboard, but its not from Asus like was mentioned in other threads. Does the brand really matter? Because I like the options on this board more and its price.

Thank you Icchansan. The only ones on the sticky I see are the gigabyte, platinum, and asus one. Unless there is another list you're speaking of. I've been having trouble navigating the forums so forgive me on that.
