Exclamation need a tutorial in how to install apple based OS

so ive been given the task to build a home theater personal computer (HTPC) but i have a 500 budget and because my mum isnt that much computer literate, that now it also HAS to have an apple based OS, so OSX, leapard, snow leapard. just as long as its mac...

i have no experience in installing a hacked version of apples OS, ive installed vista a few times and thats it. so as much step by step setup as possible would be greatly appreciated!

planning on also linking a 1TB time capsule to it, and making this computer the main one where every other computer connects to it, so i can stream media from it to my laptop/desktop.

    thank you!
