Lightbulb Need some help - OSX86 installation

Alright, ive been looking at osx for a while now and ive been trying to install it on my laptop, problem is i get the dreaded "still waiting for root device" error, also right before that i get "flow control is disabled".

Ive tried 3 different version of Leopard, Zephyros 10.5.2, iAtkos 10.5.1, and Kalyway 10.5.2 all giving me the same EXACT error when i boot with verbos.

I was wondering if someone could point out some kind of kext or something i could replace, i do have another comp that i was able to successfully install it on, so i am able to do that

    ok so heres my specs:
    Compaq Presario V5000 series
    1.25GB memory
    80GB Hard drive
    AMD Sempron...
    ATI radeon Xpress 200M....
    ST980829A ATA - Hard drive
    MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-840S ATA Device
Vista currently installed (actually runs pretty well ill add)

any help would be appreciated - After toying aroud with Leopard I really like how OSX works, and would love to have it on my primary comp....

there are lots of guides for installing leopard on a laptop with that chip but most installations I've done in the past with my old laptop worked only with vmware station.
by the look of the photo it seems as if you're trying to load it natively which in my opinion is a bit impossible.
let me give you a tip.
    google it.
it's pretty easy once you get the hang of using vmware.
    some other point:
when installing with vmware use an external drive and if you don't plan to multi-boot or dual boot, set the size to a gig less than your current laptop drive size.
    and even more important.
when using an install disc and an external drive be sure that the kernel 9.x matches the os 10.5.x else you won't have usb mass storage support.

I don't know if your HD is SATA, but I had this problem. Two things you might want to try.
#1. Get a bootable GPartd live disk image, burn a dvd and create an empty HFS macintosh partition. This might allow your install to see the disk partition.
#2. Booting from USB drive fixed my problem. My DVD was ATA and HD was SATA. As soon as I booted from USB drive, "waiting.." went away.

BTW, the message you are referring to might be related to Ethernet card...

    Good luck.

Try use a External USB DVD Drive.
