Need help, Dell 1557 looking to put mac os on it
So i tried all last night with my 2 different kalyway 10.5.2 discs, both boot up and install fine on a 2nd partition on my hd but when i go to boot it fails every time. i've tried the snow leopard disc as well and it doesn't even load up at all when i try to boot to cd. any help and information would be GREATLY appreciated, basically i'm hoping to get it up and running by the end of march beginning of april so i can get final cut pro 7 on it since i'm working on a few films from then on as assistant editor as well as audio stuff too haha.
anyway here's my specs:
Dell Studio 1557 Laptop
Pentium I7 720 quad core processor
4 gigs ddr3 ram
ati mobility radeon hd 4570
HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GA31N ATA Device [CD-ROM drive]
320 gig WD harddrive
Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card
(i've been looking to find out what motherboard i have exactly, only thing i've found was using belarc advisor which says "Board: Dell Inc. 0KM426 A03" under main circuit board)
thanks for any help

i have a desktop that worked with the kalyway 10.5.2 discs that i have so i already have 1 hackintosh, but i'd prefer a portable one and hoping it works well too haha. i was planning on putting 10.5.2 or any other 10.5 version i can scrounge up on it and then maybe upgrading or something from mac os itself. forgot to put all that info in earlier
