    Default Need a Hardware Compatability Check

    Hey guys!

    I just installed iDeneb 10.5.5 on my Alienware m15x and everything has been working out fine except for my internet.
    My wireless card is a Internal Intel PRO Wireless 4965 b/g/n Mini-Card. I've looked around and could not find a driver for it, I was wondering if u guys knew where to find one. Also, if there is none, I have a Integrated Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ethernet port which I also have not found a driver for :S what is the best solution for me?

    For wireless try here: Wireless 4965

    For LAN, try to post the chipset

    thanks icchansan, will try the website tomorrow morning because its getting late down here in the philippines. My laptop uses a Intel® GM965 Chipset.

    I downloaded the 4965 installation file, installed the driver, and rebooted. However, my wireless card is still not detected

    Yeh well still a project~ you can check if the guy make some updates or donate to push him j/k, or just buy a wireless thingy :/

    He means the chipset for the LAN controller, not the northbridge chipset. Like a Marvell Yukon Lan chipset, for example.

    I've found it, it's a Marvell Yukon LAN controller chipset.
