Discuss Motherboard support.... at the Hardware - Hackint0sh.org; ...
(I think it's obvious you all know what I'm trying to do..)
Buut anyway, here is what my goal is:
Hackintosh Leopard install, with minimum drivers required.
(my hope is to install none, or at max an audio driver or such)
Here is what I will use:
Newegg.com - Rosewill Wind Knight Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with pre-installed 2x 120mm Fan, Support up to 1x 140mm top fan, 2x 140mm side fan, 1x 140mm front fan, 1x 120mm rear fan - Computer Cases
Newegg.com - Rosewill Green Series RG700-S12 700W Continuous @40°C,80 PLUS Certified,Single 12V Rail,ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V v2.91,SLI Ready,CrossFire Ready,Active PFC"Compatible with Core i7, i5" Power Supply - Power Supplies
And finally graphics card:
Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
I already have Intel Pentium Dual Core E2220 processor.
( IntelŪ PentiumŪ Processor E2220 (1M Cache, 2.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) with SPEC Code(s) SLA8W )
My question is what motherboard will go good with all these?
Is the graphics card a good one to use for hackintosh without flaky drivers? Do I need drivers at all for it?
I need motherboard suggestions that work good, and also support:
SATA (without drivers)
have working Ethernet (without drivers)
and will also support my processor & DDR2 memory.
working USB (without drivers)
and with audio (drivers are OK as long as they work..)
I complain too much
I have about $100 (Maybe $150) to spend on the Motherboard.
