    Hi there,

I'm new here in the hackintosh scene, and wanted to try it. Worked for so far but i have a couple of questions. First my set up:

    DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D
    AMD Athlon 64 3500
    nVidia 9400 GT 512mb
    Realtek ALC850 audio
    SMC Wireless EZ-Connect N USB

I used iDeneb 1.6 lite 10.5.8 with 9.8.0 Qoopz kernel with no drivers installed except nforce ethernet and AppleATA

My question is, how can i get the ALC 850 and SMC wireless and the nVidia 9400 GT to work? I search on the forum and i couldn't find it. And the second question, my boottime for Mac Os X 10.5.8 is like 5~10 minutes, is there a way to speed it up?

    Thank you guys in advance.

Anyone got it working on a Compaq Presario CQ60-214EM yet?

Been wanting to try but waiting until I can find someone successfully installing it first.

I don't want to have to flash the 4890 either. Can someone tell us simply how to get them working please? Be as patronising as you like

Edit* Does anyone know if an update to os x will add support for the 4890, I don't mind waiting if thats the case...
    Gotcha ---

    I have a Samsung NP-N130 netbook that I have running 10.6.2.

    Specs:

    Atom N270 1.6GHz
    Intel GMA 950 Video
Realtek High Definition Audio. I can't find the model number anywhere…
    Realtek RTL8192E 802.11B/G/N NIC Card
    1GB DDR2

    Working:

Keyboard: No problems to report. Alt, Win Key, Fn, and Ctrl work as comparable Mac keys. I haven't tested all the Fn keys yet.

Trackpad: Works great! Multi-touch scrolling is perfect.

Camera: I've tested it with iChat and Photo Booth, no issues.

    Not Working:

WiFi: It has the Realtek RTL8192E WiFi card and I can't seem to find any drivers for it, for any OSX version… I'm looking to replace it with a more friendly OSX NIC.

Audio: Again, I can't find any support for my audio card. The only info I've been able to find is that it's the Realtek High Definition Audio. I have no idea what model number or version number it is.

Sleep/Wake: From what I under this is more of a 10.6 issue than an issue with my specific netbook.

I would really appreciate any help on getting any of these issues fix.

    Default system specs

    Here are my system specs:

    i5-750
    GIGABYTE GA-P55M-UD2
    ATI 4890

I'm not sure about which 4890 I should purchase, because I've never seen any directly link to the exact model they have used. Any guidance for the 4890 and the i5/P55 motherboard will be really appreciated.

    Default Mac Pro Quad core

I have the Mac Pro Quad core with the 2.93 processor 6 gig ram 2x 640 gig HD and I the stock Nvidia Geforce GT 120 512MB Graphics card and I wanted to upgrade and was wandering if the ATI Radeon HD 5770 would work with my set up I could not find the drivers online but from talking to and apple technician and he said sense it is OpenGL compliant all I would have to do is plug it in and do an update and the computer would do the rest is that......

Is this true or did that guy give me a load of crap and if so what is a alternative graphics card I could buy for gaming ?

and also what would be the advantages to keep the stock Graphics card in the computer with the new one I want to buy ?

    Hi everyone

I have a trouble with choosing the best version of hackintosh...

    My specs:

    Athlon X2 4400+ 2,3GHz

Foxconn WinFast K8.6150M2MA-KRS2H (NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Revision A2 chipset)

    The newest BIOS available (686W1D28)

4GB DDR2 RAM 800MHz (2xOCZ ATI edition, 1xKingston VALUE, 1xKingmax MARS) all works in dual channel

    BFG Geforce 8800GT OC 512MB pci-ex

Samsung 502HI SATA2 500GB (i have got windows 7 pro x64 on it and i want to install hackintosh on second partition on this drive)

also I have Samsung F1 750GB SATA2 and an old WD 1600JB IDE.

    dvd drive: HP DVD640i IDE

Creative Audigy SE PCI (on kx drivers)

I disable floppy, integrated soundcard and graphic in bios.

Can You suggest me which version of mac I need to install ? Which driver i need for my chipset ?
