That is almost my exact build. I have a 2.66 c2q, a Dark knight 4870 and an msi Mobo. I have everything working in my system using TonyMacs iBoot and Retail DVD. Then with multibeast. My 4870 was recognized out of the box when I used the 10.6.3 retail, then updated to 10.6.8 using apple's combo update, but it wouldn't boot succesfully, so I booted into safemode and re-ran Multibeast, and all was well.

    Hi,

I saw my laptop posted earlier (the Gateway MX6453) but I did not see a reply, should I be looking for the reply elsewhere?

Anyway, I am trying to turn my MX6453 into a Hackintosh and I am not sure what I should try first. I know most Hackintoshs are Intel processor's but the Gateway is what I have.

    Specs:

    Gateway
    MX6453
    AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile
    Technology TL-52
    1.60 GHz, 4GB of RAM, 3.75 usable
    ATI Radeon 1150 Graphics

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Bosefius
