Default Looking for a Intel µATX-Board

    Hi there,
actually im running iPC on a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H, but with an external HDD or printer running, there are problems with USB (mouse/keyboard stucks for a short or especially by using externel HDD for the whole time).

This is why I'm thinking about an Intel platform right now. Being a fan of µATX-Boards, I'd like to have one again .

After some time of research I saw, that Intel DG31PR and Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L should have full support (perfect USB, Ethernet, Sound). Is this true?

Even though I'm not fully persuaded of these "old" G31 chips.

What about Gigabyte GA-EG45M-DS2H or GA-EG43M-S2H? I'm not going to use onboard graphics.

I also read the DFI LANparty JR P45-T2RS to work fine except for sound. Is there any fix available now? Otherwise it is uninteristing .

Are there any other suggestions for me? Should there be no perfect board for me, I think I'll take the Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L, which is very compatible, but non-µATX .

Thanks for any help beforehand . Though USB-issues with my 780G-Board I already love OS X .

Edit: One more thing - what about GA-E7AUM-DS2H? The chipset sounds good to me, but what about kext etc.? Will this run form a DVD like iPC?

    GA-EP45-UD3R
    GA-EP45T-UD3R
    GA-EP45C-DS3R

    Big thanks so far.

But what is with the LanParty JR P45-T2RS regarding sound? Is there now a patch available?

The other boards you mentioned are all full ATX .

What of these following boards will be the most compatible one?
Intel DG45ID, Gigabyte GA-EG45M-DS2H or GA-EG43M-S2H, DFI LANparty JR P45-T2RS

These 4 boards are looking very good at the moment. Gigabyte is said to be a very good manufacture, If you want to build up a hackint0sh, so at this time I would prefer the EG45M-DS2H.
