Looking to build a Hackintosh - Advice needed
I am looking to build a hackintosh (dual-boot - win7/Mac OS X). At current I have an AMD system, Do I need to switch to intel for it to work.
Current Specs:
Mobo: Asus M2N68-AM
CPU: AMD Phenom 8450 Triple-Core
RAM: 2GB 1066MHz (O.C) Kingston Hyperx Memory CL5(5-5-5-15) 2.2V
Graphics: XFX Nvidia 8600 GTS
HDD Setup
Windows - 80GB OS HDD
1TB Storage HDD
Mac OSx - 500GB HDD
From what I can read on the net the best way to do it is on an intel system. Is this true?
Any help is much appreciated,
Cheers,
Travis

Thanks for the reply man,
Since that post I have done a fair amount of research and I am thinking of going for a set up something like this.
Possible Setup
CPU: Intel i5 650
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4
Graphics: XFX 8600 GTS
RAM: 2GB Kingston 1033Mhz (O.C)
Would probably upgrade ram and graphics later, but that would be my setup for the time being. I am not sure on the motherboard but it is hard to find many of the ones on the OS86x HCL.
Any input is appreciated,
Travis

I am looking at spending £300 on the motherboard and processor. Then for the moment I will be using my existing ram and graphics card(provided is compatible).
Looking at getting all my parts from www.ebuyer.com, as its cheap and free fast delivery.
