Linksys WMP54GS v1.1 Wireless PCI Network Card
I can confirm that the Linksys WMP54GS v1.1 PCI Wireles Network Card works out of the box.
After trying many times with different PCI wireless adaptors I have today installed the above. When I re-booted the machine and opened System Preferences/Network I could see the adaptor had been installed and was showing as an AirPort. I typed in my WPA key and I was connected.
I'm happy

How did you get this to work? I just got my yesterday for my new hackintosh so I thought I would install it in my old hackintosh system till all my parts come in. They card is not even detected. There is no lights flashing on the back of the wifi card. I plugged my old one and it was working fine. I'm using leopard 10.5.1 iatkos. I have an ASUS p4p800 deluxe mobo. What can I do if it's not even detected? Yes I tried different PCI slots, no go. Please help. Thanks.

Man you have to know whats your chipset I guess :/ cuz even in Spanish forum ppl say this thingy doesnt work... if you dont have space in your disk please try to download WinXP USB LIVE, then install everest and check the chipset.

I confirm that the Linksys WMP54GS v1.1 works out of the box on Kaliway 10.5.2 and after updating to 10.5.5
A quick Google search reveals the 'RM' denotes that this as a refurbished item and MAY not have the same chipset as the WMP54GS v1.1
My adaptor was recognised and installed without intervention from me and is recognised as an Airport device. I trust the HCL and purchased mine accordingly.
Check that your card has a v1.0 or v1.1 revision as these are the only ones listed in the HCL.
Your card may have a revision lower than v1.0. If so it may have an incompatible chipset or may be faulty. You may have to test it on another machine.

It Works Perfectly On 10.6.3,Not Sure Tho If Anything Above That,I Updated To 10.6.8 And It Stopped Working,Any Ideas?I Updated The USB Kext and i think that might be why it stopped working but i'm not sure
