Have you searched for your computer model?

I've tried scouring this forum and the net for any information and didn't find anything substantial.

What chipsets is on the board, PM45?
HDD type, SATA? DVD type IDE?
BIOS setting, SATA to AHCI possible?

For 4500HD no QE/CI, resolution can be set if under 1440.

    Hey ratvn,

    Chipset: Intel GM45 Express
    HDD: 250GB SATA
DVD: I'm not 100% sure to be honest. I'd imagine SATA.

I believe the BIOS can set to either AHCI or Compatibility.

    Native screen resolution is 1366x768.

    Believing sometimes is very good.
But your OSX installation is not religious by any mean, so you do like to make sure. Just like your search engine, it's either lost its starter or ran out of fuel and could not come up with anything for you as the model is a main stream before i3/5/7 series CPU coming out).

And they do make your Lenovo chipsets of good quality, not the low end GL40 at least.
