Intel i3 processor problems?
After ordering a new laptop from Dell that has an Intel i3-330M processor, I found a lot of posts mentioning problems installing on the i3's. It's too late to upgrade to another processor, so I'm pretty much stuck. Does anyone know if iATKOS v7 or Empire EFI with a retail disk will work at all with an i3? If, so, will it still be able to work on the Vanilla Kernel? I would love to hear from people who have installed on an i3. Thanks.

Hello, ummm.....Chew.
I have installed OS X Snow Leopard onto my Intel DP55WG motherboard with the i3 processor with no problems.
Upon initial boot and all during setup, you will need to use kernel flags to boot into "safe mode" and set the bus ratio.
Get to the boot prompt of your bootloader and enter:
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply. What method did you install with? A distro, EmpireEFI, boot 132? I just got my laptop today and keep getting a kernel panic. Would you be willing to detail the install for me? Thanks.
