hi

im having trouble using my Intel PRO/100 NIC with the JaS 10.4.8 system, it worked in deadmoo out-of-the-box. pci vendor=8086 device id=1050 it is supported by the driver Info.plist at /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleIntel8255x.kext/Contents/Info.plist

there is just a grey-ed out Built-in Ethernet in network port configurations. and system profiler does not show any PCI cards, is this normal?

if anyone could give me some hints or a tip i'd appreciate it.

I'm just in the process of fixing something simalar.. you have to add it to the string in the info.plist.. add it back into the kext, repair the permissions, clear the kext cache and reboot and with any luck it will be there..
