Hello all!
I wanted to ask about some help putting together an i5 hackintosh.

What I got so far is this:

• Intel Core i5-750 2.66Ghz
• Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H (rev. 1.0) Micro ATX - iH55

I know the above should work out of the box. (Right?)

Edit: The motherboard is Rev1.0..will that be a problem?

As a graphics card, I have these two, and I think I'll have to go with the second...but asking just in case.
I want to have everything working as hassle free as possible, so as close to out-of-the-box-working as possible with a vanilla install.
Which graphics card would be the best to go for within the price range of maximum hm..say, $110. (1000kr in Swedish Kronor for the swedish people here)

• XFX HD4850 512MB DDR3, (625Mhz), DVI, VGA, HDTV, 16X PCIe
• Palit GeForce 9800GT Super+ HDMI 1GB

Any recommendations? I will be using the machine for OSX application as well as iPad development so I would like everything working (QE/OpenCL/CI) since I've had a Macbook for 3 years now and it recently broke down on me..so having gotten used to the OS I'd like it to be an as close experience as possible.

Any help and input would be appreciated.

I don't know much about which hardware is good to go, but maybe you should tell us which distribution you want to run.

should work OOTB, check tonymacx86 Forum for mobo's support.

The GeForce 9800GT works in most cases OOTB.
I got the GigaByte N98TSL-1GI Silent Cell (its a GeForce 9800GT) for 116 EUR

Any progress here?
