HELP! Need help making a Hackintosh! THANKYOU!
I would like to run OS X leopard or the Kalaway 10.5.2 from a USB HDD or on my internal HDD.
I can turn any HDD into an external HDD and format it as nessacary with a mac or PC (i do have two macs - but i want a 'mactop' and as i am a student i don't have the money!) i have OS X Tiger & Leopard retail discs & intend to download the kalaway (please post a link if possible!) I have formatted an internal HDD with HFS+ and copied my entire G4 HDD to the external HDD on my PC using FireWire Disk mode. And guess what? it doesn't work! no surprise there! Any help would be appriciated!
Thanks. :hack:

Re: make of laptop
It's just a DELL Inspiron 1520! - nothing special!
Thanks for your help, I will post results and/ or a simple help sheet once my install is complete!
I know I can't post links for Torrents/ Google but can I recommend products such as a HDD cage or USB to IDE HDD cable (from ebay or other site) if I think they are of use in the project or in my description of how I am using them.
Thanks. :hack:
