Default Help with keyboard - Kalyway Leopard install on my PC

Hey, so I burnt the Kalyway Leopard install to a dvd and I booted from it with my PC, and i was greeted with this screen:

But nothing happens when I press f8 or any other button, and in a few seconds, it changes to the following screen:

(its hard to see on the pic, but in the white box thing it says: hd(31,0) Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_AMD)

However, pressing enter does nothing, pressing f8 does nothing, and I cannot type anything. there's nothing I can do to progress to the next step.

Have I done something wrong? Is it my keyboard?
Any help for a newbie would be greatly appreciated

I have heard only USB keyboards will work with it.... unless I am mistaken. Perhaps that is your issue?

Just trying to help with my limited knowledge heh.

    Default Same issue with Alienware

I get the same screen. Any command will ultimately end with either a restart or a screen that ends saying

    "Mac OS Version:
    Not yet set

    Kernel version:
Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.0: Sun Mar 2..."

and won't go anywhere else, forcing me to reboot.

    Laptop is:
    Alienware Area 51 M5500
    1GB RAM
    VESA v3.0 128MB (NVIDIA)

Have you tried setting USB keyboard support in BIOS and trying that with an external keyboard?

    Default try a different keyboard

I'd try using a different keyboard altogether. You might get lucky. I have an Asus P5K-E motherboard and my Apple USB Keyboard causes it to hang at post for some reason.

    Good luck.
