Help with i5 Hackintosh, donation will be given...
Im currently planning to build a i5 hackintosh computer and need the help of anyone who knows what they are doing.
I have decided to use the following hardware for my hackintosh
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 v1.0
Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz
DDR3 Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz
Gainward Radeon HD4850 512Mb 2xdvi + s-video
Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB
DVDRW Samsung 223C
Now I am only using this hardware combination because it was referred to on a hackint0sh site but I was wondering could I change it a bit. I am happy with the processor and RAM and even the hard drive but im am unsure about the other components. I am looking for a graphics card with real bite to it. displaying the most cutting edge games without any hassel. It doesnt have to be 3D but it has to be HD. Also i was looking for a drive with a blu ray and also better if at all possible. I know nothing about power supplies so is this one adequete?
The computer will be used for everything, from gaming to web design and programming. I will be looking to use most of apples software and im not really looking to spend over $1000 or £700. But to get the most cutting edge computer then i probably must do so. I know very little about hackint0sh but I study computer science and am a quick learner. All i ask from you hackint0sh members is could someone compile me a list of hardware to build a fast and easy to maintain laptop. If you believe that the hardware I have listed is fine then also please reply.
I will donate some money to whoever gives me the most help or i will make a donation to the site if that makes you happier. Please reply with as much information as possible from hardware combinations to installtion methods. I would love if my hackint0sh was easy to maintain and also could accept updates.
Please do not refer me to a genuine Mac as I want to make this for fun and I want to have a dual booting computer.
Thanks for all your help.
