Building a Hackintosh but would like some questions answering if thats ok with ya'll.

I busted an old pcs mobo about 2 months back. But so far i have a 500gb SATA HD with vista but i'll reformat it solely for Leopard.

I have a 512mb 7950GTO Nividia gfx Card.

Wireless was built in on the board. Basically i am prepared to buy a new motherboard obviousl to replace the old one and i need to know which would work best for the cheapest cost.

I require working sound, and wifi is extremely important. I am prepared to buy a usb wifi if need be as long as the cost is low but i would prefer on board wifi if anybody knows which will definately work.

Also a working gfx card, i dnt think mine will work. Any spec but keep in mind its for leopard.

Also overall which distro of leopard is the best for my setup and overall how reliable is leopard on a hackintosh, does it run well for just the primary OS on your setup?

I'm looking for a mobo and gpu list! This would really help if the forum had a running list.

Your Nvidia should work as it's the 7 series like mine (7600GS) but i'm not fully sure.

I have a nice fully working system that runs all apps and games, call of duty 2 being my favourite.

This is my hardware:

ASRock 775i945G
Core2 E4300
Sata HD
Nvidia 7600GS 512MB at bios boot (check yours, some report 256 though can be fixed)

Onboard Realtek audio works out the box with Azalia driver from install dvd.
Onboard network works out the box.

Doesn't sleep well so just disable sleep mode.

You can split the HD (Vista has an option "shrink volume") and make it bootable for both OS (Leo and Vista).
I'm also having to much problems with my wifi/sound card and I'm thinking to bypass onboard cards and go for an external option. Make a search for compatible hardware under Leo xx (xx=your version), there are tons of external wireless cards out there that seem to work out of the box.
