Not sure if you need to mod did you try to install? did you check the HCL? try with iPC or Leo4all, check some guides, google it, and good luck

Planned Build
Hey Everyone!
I've been a lurker here for awhile and finally decided its time to start my build!
Heres the build:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P
Processor: Intel I7 920
Video: EVGA Geforce GTX 260 (Haven't seen this supported)
Memory: 6X 2GB Corsair XMS3
Hard Drive: WD Raptor 74GB (for OS's)
WD 1TB Caviar Black
Power Supply 750/1000w
LG Blueray Burner (Haven't seen this supported)
I mainly was wondering if the blueray burner and the graphics card would be supported. I've yet to see them in any compatibilities list. So does this look good/would it work?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi there,
my mac mini with Tiger OS could read an external USB Blue-ray burner from LG (the one that was sold at Bestbuy.ca last year, sorry don't remember the exact model).
So I suppose there is a built-in support for that in Mac OS to some degree already.
Hope this helps,

Thanks! After some research I've found at least one other build with the bluray burner that works. I'm going ahead with this build today with the exception of the graphics card. Had to trade it out for a 9800 GTX+ since I didn't realize GT 200's weren't supported yet.

Yeah 9800GTX should work without problem, seems like it will be support soon for GTX 285, or theres support now, I´m not that update for the graphic part, but you can always research for those, and theres support for Radeon HD4850, check netkas site if you like ATI

Check the HCL to know bluetooth that works out the box, so you can play with apple accessories without problem.

So I followed the recommended hardware setup ( the newest one)
This is what I have:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
Processor: Intel Core i7 920
Video: EVGA 9800 GTX+
Hard Drive: 2x 500GB 7200 rpm
Memory: 6GB RAM DDR3
Power Supply 750
DVDRW Serial ATA
Everything is up and running and seems great. Just wondering if anyone else has built this system and what their geekbench score was...
Mine is: 9696
Does that sound about right or is it slow for this build?? Maybe I've installed something incorrectly, although everything is working and showing up properly?
