- 4GB DDR2 Ram memory
And I also have a... (I don't think this takes part in the decision... but...)
- Nvidia Quadro FX 3500
And what would be a good mid range (less than $200) video card for the recommended Motherboard.
Thank you so much all !!!

Try with Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3 or Asus P5Q Deluxe

I was looking over your hardware combos on the first page, are these setups of 10.6? or can they work with 10.5 as well?
EDIT: To be more specific, i was looking at this combo in particular:
Motherboard: Gigabyte P55M-UD2
Processor: Intel Core i5 750
Video: 9800 GTX or GTX 2xx
Hard Drive: 500GB 7200 rpm + 500 GB 7200 rpm
Memory: 6GB RAM DDR3
Power Supply 750/1000w
DVDRW Serial ATA
Another question, is the computer drawing enough power to need a power supply that large?

Hackintosh Help
Hey Guys,
Just wondering if you could give me some help.
Looking to make a Hackintosh from scratch.
The components i am looking to buy are,
- Gigabyte P55M-UD2 Socket 1156 Motherboard
- Intel Core i3-530 2.93Ghz Processor
- Gigabyte GeForce 9800GT 1GB Graphics Card
- G.Skill DDR3 1333 Mhz 2x2GB
- Hitachi 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive
- Samsung DVD/CD Burner/Player
Just wanting to know before i buy all this if it is compatable with MAC OS-X.
Also if it will run good.
Better then a mac out of the shop.
Thanks in advance,

Hi everyone. Just another newbie posting a build and hoping someone will say it's perfect. Getting all my parts from overclockers.co.uk. Trying to pick up the absolute cheapest components possible. I'm on a budget
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 "LGA775 Core 2" 2.60GHz (800FSB) - Retail
Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L Intel G31 (Socket 775) DDR2 Motherboard
Patriot Signature 2GB DDR2 6400C5 (800MHz) Module (PSD22G8002H)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 250GB SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM (ST3250318AS)
OcUK Swift 550W Silent Power Supply
OcUK Athena Tower Case - Black
OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM
A video card has been omitted to save money. If I were to buy this build and OS X ran well then I'd invest in a GeForce 9 Series. If it didn't work then it'd be relegated to a backup Linux server
