Oh my GOD there is a lot of information on this...but I've yet to find anything specific to my needs. I've been contemplating this for a YEAR since I bought and built my system, but have been afraid to even try because I didn't want to get yelled at for asking stupid questions on a forum. I'm going to take my chances here, hoping someone can guide me.
Like I said, I've done a lot of reading, and I'm not bad at all with computers, but I can't seem to figure out WHAT I need to do. Please be gentle with me, as I said...I've been afraid to ask for a year, and now that I've been an unemployed graphic designer for 3 months now, it's about damn time I make this happen.
Here's my hardware, will it work?
Motherboard: P5Q3 DELUXE/WIFI-AP CH1-11
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz
RAM: G.SKILL 2x2GB 240-Pin DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
Video Card: BFG Tech GeForce 8800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0
It's a good system, she's been very good to me...I'm going to need another hard drive, I've known that for a long time...but still...where do I start? I refuse to believe that this hardware is still too new to run a hackintosh on.
thank you
