    Default Hardware-Check plz

    Hey!

    First, excuse my bad english

    I bought a Mac Book Pro a few Months ago, and since that my PC isnīt in use, and i dream of a Mac Pro...

    I would change the necessary components, to run Hackintosh on my PC

    Here my Hardware-Configuration:

    CPU: Intel Quad Core Q6600

    Mainboard: MSI P35 Neo2-FIR

    RAM: 2x 2GB GEIL Dragon Serie DDR2-800 (GB24GB6400C4DC)

    GPU: MSI Geforce 8800GT (512MB VRAM)

    Soundcard: Creative X-FI

    First Question:
    Which hardware components must be changed or sort out?
    So i read a little bit in your forum and i think the soundcard must be sort out and my mainboard must be changed to a Gigabyte or Asus, anything else?

    Second Question:
    How sure is a complete stable running Leopard after the necessary Hardware Changes? Donīt want to give money away, if it doesnīt run stable.

    Hi Silencerdelux, Everything looks great

    You wanna use your motherboard you will need a BIOS MOD to get all cores Working, dont worry is easy.

    But if you wanna change, cuz you have some money extra, check this list:

    About your sound card its totally Unsupported, once again here are the options:

    Thx for the quick reply, but a few more questions coming up:

    Where can i find the Bios Mod? Sorry for the stupid question, perhaps there is an extra website for this, i searched the Forum, but didnt find something similar...

    The X-FI Soundcard can be sort out, the onboard Realtek Chip can used, i guess?

    Is there any Chance to run Bootcamp to use Windows paralell?

    No BootCamp on hackintoshes. You can use VMware/Parallels Desktop to run Windows there.

    Onboard-Sound: RealtekŪ ALC888/ALC888T

    LAN: Ethernet by Realtek 8111B


    Is there a Image you prefer?

    Kalyway(popular shared), iDeneb v1.3, for iATKOS i only find old Versions(2.0i BS), the 4.0 is supported from 2 Seeder....

    Your audio will be supported and your LAN, you can try ideneb v1.3 or leo4all v3, kalyway will work too. I think they all will work in your PC

    Ok, BIOS is flashed with the MOD!

    First Problem with iDeneb, after Installation there is the normal reboot, for a few Seconds i see the APPLE Screen, followed with a reboot and so on and so on

    I hope its ok to post the Installation Stuff here too, or should i create a new Thread?

    New Change: I installed OSX from iDeneb again, now everytime with the DVD inside, the Installation starts from the beginning, without the DVD nothing happens just a black screen...

    EDIT: If i use STARTUP DISK in iDeneb Installation Screen i only can select the DVD and Network Startup!
    I think something going wrong with the Darwin Boot Loader, it doesnt find the Hard Disks, in the Installation
    of iDeneb i find the Leopard-Partition...

    Hi Silencerdeluxe, did you installed Vanilla Kernel? If you did it make sure you enable XD feature in your BIOS
